I’m a Scotland-based filmmaker with a passion for telling stories that feel deeply human, the kind that linger, challenge, and reflect the world around us. I believe the most powerful films are the ones you can see yourself in, even when it’s uncomfortable. That’s the kind of storytelling I strive for.

​Since making my first short film at 17, I’ve been developing my voice as a writer-director, with a strong focus on character, emotion, and grounded realism. Recently, I graduated from Kingston School of Art. During my final year, I was chosen to write and direct one of three dramas. The privilege to collaborate with a large crew on a project so personal was a learning experience I will always cherish.

Over the past few years, I’ve written and directed six short films, each one helping me grow as a storyteller, develop my taste and deepen my connection to the kinds of narratives I want to tell. My most recent film premiered at the Filmhouse Cinema to an audience of over 150 people. I successfully made a film conforming to the rules of Dogme 95. I’ve also had the opportunity to work closely with a charity to create a documentary that explores real lives and real issues. In addition, I’ve worked as a runner on a BBC production, supported the development of proof-of-concept documentaries, and gained valuable experience across both production and post.

.At the heart of my work is a love for writing. Whether it’s screenplays, poetry, journaling, or short stories, writing helps me reflect on people, relationships, and the society we live in. I take pride in all aspects of the filmmaking process, and while writing and directing are my main focuses, I also have a strong passion for editing and shaping the rhythm of a story in post-production.My goal is to continue creating honest, human films — and ultimately, to write and direct a feature that speaks to audiences the way my favourite stories have spoken to me.
